Polytext provides AI-powered translation services for EPUB books and Anki flashcard decks. We translate text content while preserving formatting, images, and structure.
3. User Responsibilities
By using the Service, you agree that:
- You have the right to translate any content you upload (through ownership, license, fair use, or public domain)
- You will not upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content without authorization
- You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws
4. Translation Quality
Our translations are powered by AI technology. While we strive for accuracy:
- Minor formatting variations may occur
- AI translations may not be perfect and should be reviewed
- We recommend using our free preview feature before purchasing
- If your translation is unacceptable, contact us for review and possible refund
5. Payments & Refunds
- All payments are processed securely through PayPal
- Prices are displayed before purchase
- If your translated file is unacceptably malformed or mistranslated, contact us for a review
- Refunds are provided at our discretion after reviewing the translation quality
6. File Retention
- Uploaded and translated files are automatically deleted after 7 days
- Download your files promptly - we cannot recover deleted files
- You can re-download files within the 7-day window using your email
7. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to your original content. We claim no ownership over your uploaded files or translated output. The Polytext name, logo, and service are our intellectual property.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to translation errors, data loss, or service interruptions.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
